last night, peter hook [former bassist from joy division] and the light performed the album ‘closer’ in its entirety. i was a bit hesitant to go at first, but figured it would be one of the few chances to listen to my favorite songs, live. the age range of audience was super interesting, from early 20’s [including myself] to people of 60’s who have seen joy division multiple times.
